The Result: We made history as the creators of the world's largest projection mapping show. 40 skyscrapers in Shenzhen's Futian District were transformed into a single, living digital organism. Awarded the Grand Prix at the Bi-City Biennale.

3D mapping is a multimedia projection technique that transforms any objects or buildings into 3D screens. Special media servers and software are used to match animations to surface shapes.
Preparation time depends on the project scale. Smaller, 2-3 minute shows can be ready in 3-4 weeks, while more complex ones might require several months of work.
Mapping can be performed on almost any surface - from a restaurant table to entire buildings dozens of meters wide. Building facades, interiors, theatrical scenography, and even cars are most commonly used.
Generally, video projection won't be visible in sunlight. For outdoor shows, the effect is definitely best after dark. However, daytime shows can be done indoors.
