About the Role

MediaCraft.video is seeking an exceptional Motion Graphics Animator to join our award-winning creative team. We’re looking for a visionary artist who can blend classical animation principles with cutting-edge techniques to create stunning, emotionally resonant motion graphics. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects for global brands, projection mapping events and interactive experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create captivating motion graphics that elevate storytelling
• Develop unique visual styles and contribute to artistic direction
• Produce high-resolution animations (8K and beyond)
• Collaborate with art directors and clients to refine concepts

Technical Requirements

Essential Skills:

• Mastery of Animation Fundamentals:
  • Deep understanding and application of Disney’s 12 Principles of Animation (required)
  • Exceptional timing and spacing skills
  • Strong grasp of cinematography and composition
• Software Proficiency:
  • Adobe After Effects (advanced level)
  • Blender or similar 3D software (Cinema 4D, Maya, etc…)
  • Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Technical Capabilities:
  • Ability to render complex animations in high resolution (8K+)
  • Understanding of color spaces and HDR workflows
  • Proficiency in optimization for various delivery platforms

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of professional motion graphics experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating diverse animation styles
• Understanding of design trends and animation history

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with:
  • Houdini for motion graphics
  • Real-time motion graphics (Notch, Unreal Engine)
  • Procedural animation techniques
• Knowledge of:
  • Python or JavaScript for animation
  • Motion capture data integration
  • Virtual production

Technical Setup Required

Artist must have:

• Workstation capable of 8K+ rendering:
  • CPU: AMD Threadripper or Intel i9
  • GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4080 or better
  • RAM: 64GB minimum
  • Storage: NVMe SSDs with 2TB+ free space

MediaCraft.video provides:
